Send the E-Mail with the Scanned Image
You can send the email directly by attaching it with the scanned image from your Dell printer or scanner. To send email with scanned image you have to set and alert and to set alert steps are given below.

Step1: Type the UP address of the printer in address bar and hit enter to go and open the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool on your computer.

Step2: Here select Web tool and click E-mail alert you will see email server settings page available here.

Step3: Now specify the setting for mail alert to “Primary SMTP Gateway” and enter the IP address of the email server. Then select “E-Mail Send Authentication” to specify invalid to enable the email server, lastly click on apply new settings. 


Register New Email Address on your PC

Step1: Again type IP address of the printer on address bar to open the Dell printer configuration web tool on your PC.

Step2: Now click on address book and click on E-mail address tab to create and you will see the email address page for registering new e-mail address appears.

Step3: Now enter your details like Name and address before apply settings. Now you can start send email with scanned file. If there is any technical problem call for Dell printer support number.   

Send an E-mail using Scanned File

Step1: To initiate this process start pressing with home button and select email.

Step2: Now specify a receiver to send the mails to that particular id. Here you need help for Dell scan to email support for configuring this setting.

Step4: Now using start button you can begin sending e-mail after scanning on your Dell printer.
